The steel industry with the most dust control points, whose basic application is the bag filter, is the earliest industry to apply bag filters.
From mining, crushing, sieving, transport, coking, sintering, blast furnace smelting, converter steelmaking, electric furnace steelmaking, sub-material system for steelmaking, molten steel refining, slab cutting (including scafing) to hot rolling, cold rolling and other whole process of production, a large amount of dust and fumes are produced, all of which are filtered by bag filters.
According to different operating conditions, the company chooses the most suitable and cost-effective filter materials for customers according to local conditions, to achieve low resistance, high efficiency, stable operation and ultra-low emission.
The selection of filter materials: polyester series products, acrylic series products, PPS series products, aramid series products, fiberglass with PTFE membrane products, PTFE+PPS blended, PTFE+ fiberglass blended etc., can be selected, according to different operating conditions in the steel industry.
Yanpai ultra-clean filter material series products are a new generation of special new filter material, developed for fine dust ultra-low emission, low resistance, and long life of the new environmental requirements. The key of the product is to adopt a new design concept and raw material formula for the operating characteristic that fine dust is difficult to be collected in high-temperature flue gas, and to specifically introduce microfibers and select high performance fibers, so the product has low resistance and high efficiency, sound temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, which can help customers efficiently intercept fine dust, maintain stable operating resistance, and ensure the emission of fumes to the standard.
Ultra-low emissions in the steel industry:
The traditional advantage of Yanpai has always been the dust collection of the steel industry: for the dust collection at normal temperature, Yanpai’s unique polyester microfiber filter material, high-density special filter material, and membrane filtration materials are basically discharged below 5mg within the filtration wind speed of 0.8m/min, maintaining a low and stable differential pressure.
Semi-dry desulfurization and dust collection in Sintering machine:
In view of the dry concentrated dust working conditions, Yanpai makes PPS microfiber surface filter material into filter bags by fine processing techniques such as bag head sewing, sewing position coated with silica gel and other fine processing technique into filter bags by professional installers who are responsible for the construction process of the combined process to meet the high emissions requirements.

Dust collection of raw material system in blast furnace and converter:
A large amount of dust is produced in transport, sieving, storage and feeding, and the composition of dust is diverse, such as pellets, sinter, mixed ore, coke powder, coal powder, clay, ferroalloy and lime, etc., which belongs to the normal temperature condition.
Dust concentration: about 5 g/Nm3 ~ 15 g/Nm3.
Filter material scheme: PE as the base material, anti-static, oil and water repellence, membrane and other technologies can be applied according to the particle size and operating conditions.
Dust collection from blast furnace casting house:
When the blast furnace is casting iron, a large amount of dust-laden gas is produced in the iron tapping hole, main runner, skimmer, cake runner and hot metal ladle, etc.
Flue gas temperature: 60℃ ~ 100℃
Dust concentration: 5 g/Nm3 ~ 15 g/Nm3
50% particle size: 5 µm~10 µm
Filter material scheme: 550g PE membrane, 650g PE filter material.
Secondary dust collection in converter:
In mixing molten iron, adding scrap steel, taping steel and blowing in converter, a lot of secondary flue gas is produced, and the dust is iron oxide.
Flue gas temperature: 60℃ ~ 130℃
Dust concentration: 2g/Nm3 ~ 5g/Nm3
Filter material scheme: 550g PE filter material, 550g PE membrane, PE microfiber filter material.
Dust collection in the electric steel furnace:
A large amount of flue gas is produced in the smelting process of electric steel furnace. The major features of the working condition are large smoke volume and fine dust particles, almost 100% of which are below 5µm ~ 10µm, with high viscosity.
Flue gas temperature: <130℃
Dust concentration: 8g/Nm3 ~ 15g/Nm3
Filter material scheme: 650g PE filter material, 650g PE membrane filter material, 550g PE membrane, PE microfiber filter material.

After burning surplus coal gas, the flue gas has the characteristics of stable working condition, low corrosion, low dust content and low temperature.
Filter material scheme: PPS550g is recommended; velocity of filtering is less than 0.75m/mi.

The dust consists of mineral powder, coke, etc.;It has SO2, NOX and other noxious gas with strong abrasiveness, high humidity and active corrosion; Condensed water is produced from cold state to thermal state;Electric dust removal + wet desulphurization is changed to semi-dry desulphurization + cloth bag.
Filter material scheme: 100%PPS, PPS/TF, PPS+TF/TF.
Gas in outlet of sintering machine
The condition of discharge flue gas is simple, so the selection of filter material takes temperature as the main consideration.
Dust concentration of mixed flue gas: 5-15g/Nm3, dust concentration of unmixed flue gas is low
Flue gas temperature: 60~180 ℃
